Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Verbeli browser extension, website and Premium subscription (together, "Verbeli"). Verbeli is provided by PE Mykhailo Stolovych, Ukraine ("we", "us"). By installing or using Verbeli you agree to these terms. Contact: support@verbeli.com.
1. The service
Verbeli replaces some words on web pages you read with translations to help you learn a language. The free version works on your device. Premium adds AI-assisted translations that take each sentence into account. Translations are generated automatically and may be wrong; Verbeli is a learning aid, not a professional translation service.
2. Your account
Some features need an account, which you create with your email address. Keep access to that email secure, as it is how you sign in. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 13.
3. Premium, trials and billing
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Premium is a subscription billed monthly or yearly in advance at the price shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes. It renews automatically until you cancel.
- You can start one free trial per account. It does not require a card and ends on its own; it does not turn into a paid subscription.
- You can cancel at any time from the extension (Manage subscription). Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Premium includes a generous daily fair-use limit on AI translations to keep the service sustainable for everyone.
- If we change the price, we will tell you in advance and the new price will apply from your next renewal; you can cancel before then.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Verbeli: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer our server, no automated or bulk use of the translation service outside the extension, no reselling access, and no use that breaks the law or the rights of others.
5. Intellectual property
Verbeli, including its software, dictionaries and design, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it under these terms. The pages you read remain yours or their owners'; Verbeli changes how they display only in your own browser.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we handle and why.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Verbeli running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Premium, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Verbeli is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using Verbeli at any time by removing the extension and, if you wish, asking us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in advance in the extension or by email. Continuing to use Verbeli after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
